Sun conjunct Uranus Cazimi: The Great Awakening at 1° Gemini
On May 22nd, 2026, the Sun forms an exact conjunction with Uranus at 1° Gemini, creating what is called a cazimi: one of the most rare & powerful alignments.
Something is being reborn today… and it begins in our minds.
What is a Cazimi?
In Astrology, when a Planet comes too close to the Sun, it becomes what is known as combust: overwhelmed by the Sun’s light, its energy weakened and obscured, but there is an exception to this rule.
When a Planet moves within 17 minutes of the Sun, rather than being burned away, the Planet is received into the very heart of the Sun itself.
The Arabic word cazimi means in the heart of the Sun.
At this precise moment, all of the stagnant, stuck, accumulated, distorted energy of that Planet is burned away by the Chisted Light of the Sun. Every limiting belief that Planet has been carrying. Every old story. Every layer of conditioning that dimmed its light… Gone.
The Planet is not diminished. It is purified, refreshed, & restored to its most essential, most luminous, most uncorrupted expression.
A cazimi is a cosmic reset. A rebirth. A direct solar activation.
