In 2027, we will experience once-in-a-lifetime shift in the Background Frequency (you can think of the Background Frequency as the type of “music” that is playing in the background of our lives).
In the system of Human Design, due to the wobble of the Earth’s axis based on the Procession of the Equinoxes, the Earth moves into a different Background Frequency every 400 years – which is part of a 26,000 year cycle. The last time Humanity experienced such a shift in the Background Frequency was during the 17th Century. In Human Design, these different Global Cycles of Background Frequencies are connected to specific Crosses comprised of 4 different Gates (don’t worry I’ll explain all of this in a way you can easily understand in our class).
Since the year 1615, we have been under the influence of the Cross of Planning – which is all about planning to live together as a community and the cultivation of skills to be able to manage the details of living in community (think schools, social services, healthcare, hospitals, fire departments, police force, transportation infrastructure, global banking systems, credit lending, health insurance, etc).
In February of 2027, we will shift from the Cross of Planning to the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix – which is all about the power of the individual and the ability of each individual person to be self-led, self-motivated, and self-empowered to navigate life with awareness in the now – and the importance of intimacy and having the correct relationships in our lives.
In our current reality, we can already feel the fall of the Cross of Planning as things all around us seem to be exponentially escalating…
Our hearts ache with all of the suffering and chaos all around us, and often we can feel overwhelmed and helpless (even hopeless)…

ABOUT RAKAI’EL
I have been studying Astrology since 1998 and have helped thousands of students love themselves more through understanding their charts. It’s my favorite thing to do.
