This Scorpio Full Moon falls on Beltane this year, and that’s not by chance. May 1st is Beltane, one of the great Celtic celebrations of the wheel of the year: a feast of fertility, sexuality, abundance, and the full, lush flush of springtime moving toward summer. We are standing at a threshold. Scorpio is the sign of transformation, of shedding what no longer serves so that something truer & more powerful can emerge. This Full Moon is asking one profound question: where have you given your power away, and are you ready to take it back?
This moon offers us the opportunity to weed the gardens of our minds. It’s time to pull up every limiting belief that has quietly been choking the flowering of your gifts. Scorpio’s alchemical waters are here to compost every story that has kept you playing small, so that something wilder & more beautiful can grow in its place.
When we are brave enough to follow the truth of our hearts completely, what blooms is more lush, alive, and more abundantly ours than anything we could have reached for while still playing small.

Full Moons always bring some kind of illumination. They shine their light into the dark corners of our lives, and what has been hidden can no longer stay hidden. This Full Moon represents the culmination of a cycle that began with the Scorpio New Moon on October 21st, 2025. Something that was seeded then, perhaps a truth you were just beginning to face, a relationship entering a new chapter, a shadow beginning to surface, has now reached its fullness.
It’s a time of clearing, celebration & completion. Look back. What was stirring within you last October? That thread has now woven itself into a tapestry you can finally see.
This Full Moon, despite its Scorpionic depth, is fundamentally on your side. Supported by the Nodes, what surfaces now is purposeful. This is Scorpio as the surgeon, here to heal.
The core medicine is the reclamation of your power.
Scorpio asks us to look at where we have given our power away, to a person, a belief, a story. So much of that leakage comes from quietly talking down to ourselves: the self-deprecating thoughts, the shame around parts of our story we have been afraid to own. Scorpio rules truth-telling. When we own our story (all of it), we take back the pen.
Think of the caterpillar that has eaten so many leaves that it simply cannot eat more. Something shifts, and it goes on a walk, builds its silken anchor, and then lets go. Inside the chrysalis, it turns to mush, and from that mush a butterfly is dreamed into form.
This is the Scorpio Full Moon invitation: to stop fighting the dissolution and trust that what is forming in the dark is more beautiful than anything you could have planned.

- The South Node in Virgo is helping us to karmically purge old, outdated mental constructs of perfection, self doubt, and victim mentality. Any old, outdated self-critical thought patterns are ripe for transformation. The South Node in Virgo has been acting as a cosmic gardener, weeding the garden of our minds, pulling up the self-deprecating thoughts that have been quietly choking the flowering of our gifts. All those thoughts that say: “I’m not good enough. Who am I to do this? I’m not ready”. This sextile offers Virgo’s discernment as a tool for clearing. Write those stories down. Name them. Then bury them.

- The trine is astrology’s most supportive aspect, and the North Node in Pisces is our collective evolutionary invitation to dream bigger, trust deeper, and hold the most ideal vision for our lives. What surfaces under this Full Moon is pointing you toward your destiny. The North Node in Pisces is amplifying our dreams (both literal & metaphorical), and our ability to imagine a more beautiful, harmonic, idealized future for ourselves & all of humanity. This future is one where each person’s authenticity & individuality are honored & empowered. To do this you have to call back your power from any person or place where you were trying to conform & shrink your dreams to please others. It’s time to dream bigger than that!

Scorpio Full Moon ritual: Journal out every limiting belief that says you can’t have what your heart desires. Bury the paper in the earth. Pour water over the soil. Virgo is earth, Scorpio is water, let them compost it together to create new, rich, fertile soil.
The 44th Gate (Coming to Meet) lives in the Spleen Center in Human Design and carries a deep, instinctive pattern-recognition intelligence, a cellular knowing of when something is familiar, when a dynamic has been lived before. The 44th Gene Key moves from Interference to Teamwork to Synarchy, and its dilemma is Hierarchy.
