Pharmacology: Black spruce is dominated by stimulant and restorative monoterpenes (<55%) that are balanced by relaxant esters (<52%) and sesquiterpenes. Anti-inflammatory and spasmolytic constituents such as camphene and bornyl acetate are noted.
