Ruled by Neptune, Pisces in its quintessence is all about the Imaginal Realms, and is associated with the archetypes of the mystic, dreamer, spiritual visionary, psychic, artist, musician, healer, and savior.

In its healed expression, Pisces is spiritual, dreamy, poetic, romantic, beautiful, empathic, compassionate, fluid, sensitive, and idealistic.

In its unhealed expression, Pisces can be escapist, dissociative, prone to addiction, confused, diluted, vulnerable, spacey, and depressed.

The New Moon occurs on February 27th at 2:45pm HST (4:45pm PST) at 9° Pisces.

Was there something you started in March of last year (a project or a story perhaps), where you also experienced a shift around last September, that is now coming to a completion or culmination only to make room for a new beginning? A new layer to this storyline is beginning… What do you see? How has your vision for your life shifted over this past year? This New Moon is very special in that it’s not part of an Eclipse, but the Sign of Pisces is involved with the Nodal Axis of the Pisces/Virgo axis that we are currently exploring through our current eclipse cycle (from September 2024 through February 2027). That makes this Pisces New Moon feel like a moment in the “washing machine” of this eclipse cycle, when we come up for air and get our bearings before being pulled back down when the Eclipse Portal kicks in next month.

ASPECTS TO THE PISCES NEW MOON

The New Moon occurs at 9° Pisces and will be engaged in the following aspects:

Squared (challenged by) Jupiter at 11° Gemini:
- Normally, a square (also called a hard aspect) represents a point of challenge & tension. However, when it’s involving Jupiter (known as “The Great Benefic”) we really just have to watch out for overdoing it – over promising or over indulging (this is especially important related to the unhealed aspects of Pisces). Choose your own adventure always, and my guidance would be to stay away from all substance & mind altering situations – the energy is already trippy enough! The veil is thin, and even just one glass of champagne can feel like 4.
- That said, as long as we are mindful of overextending ourselves, this energy from Jupiter can be very beneficial for helping to expand our minds so we can bring in the greater vision for our lives and imagine a softer, more compassionate world for all of us.
Also of note: We are having an extra strong dose of Pisces energy (and all of the questions posed by this new moon), due to the multiple alignments of many planets in Pisces. First on February 1st with Saturn, Neptune, Venus, the North Node and the Moon all aligned in Pisces. Then again towards the end of March with Saturn, Neptune, Venus Rx, the North Node & Moon in Pisces + the Sun & Mercury Rx in Aries – more on the Aries bit in Aries Season Audios for The Synthesis Membership.

In order for us to be able to envision a softer, more compassionate world, or to be available to see the bigger vision for our lives that is bubbling up to the surface of our subconscious waters, we have to be whole within ourselves to be able to hold this vision.

The 37th Gate/Gene Key speaks of the balance of the bargain that is made between our inner masculine & feminine. Due to the past 400 years of Tribal programming, we are all deeply steeped in the idea that things have to be equal and reciprocity is held at a high standard. But when we look at the bigger dream for humanity, making sure that everything is equal isn’t actually up to us. Think how much energy it takes to offer support (especially when you don’t feel like it), and then add the task of also always keeping track of who has given how much. It can be exhausting! (Exhaustion is the shadow of the 40th Gate/Gene Key, which is the programming partner and the other side of the full 40-37 Channel of Community. It’s the difference between a barter economy and a gifting economy.

In order to transcend this tit-for-tat score keeping mentality, we have to first ensure that both our inner masculine & inner feminine are both expressing themselves equally in our own lives (the balance must be found first at home). Once this inner balance is becomes harmonized, we can freely gift our support to others, knowing that somewhere, sometime the scales of giving & receiving will be balance by the Divine – and so we are free to give & gift our energy with out the tedious task of keeping score.

Then the notion of family is transcended, and we remember that we are all one great big beautiful family – and this feels empowering & supportive only as long as we are all living according to our own unique design, not an idea (ours or someone else’s) of who we should be.

This is a big task, to be sure. Perhaps we will see the results in this lifetime, perhaps not, but we know that the inner alchemy that we do now will benefit not only our own bloodline, but all of humanity in the future.
