- Opposed (challenged) by Pluto at 2° Aquarius:
- Pluto is the Lord of the Underworld, and is currently retrograde in Aquarius. In this phase he pulls us deep in the undertow, so we can look our shadows in the face. Where have you been hiding your light, and allowing the expectations of others to affect how you share your unique gifts with the world? Pluto is here to help you put all of that on the funeral pyre and burn away all of those ways in which you have disempowered yourself, by thinking you’re too weird or unacceptable in any way. Pluto wants you to rise from the flames of this fiery New Moon like the Phoenix, clear, strong, and empowered in your unique, weird, magical, authentic expression.
- Trined (supported) by Saturn & Neptune at 1° & 2° respectively, in Aries:
- Saturn & Neptune in Aries are asking us to become responsible for taking inspired action and moving forward on those dreams. But first, they are both on a retrograde journey to help us recover/remember something essential about becoming responsible for our dreams. Trine to (supporting) the New Moon in Leo, Saturn & Neptune retrograde in Aries are helping us to find the courage, passion, drive & motivation to become the Authority in our lives (instead of outsourcing this to others). The more you connect to your relationship with your individual Authority (whether you have Sacral Authority, Emotional Authority, Splenic, etc) in the setting of your New Moon intentions, the more powerful they will be.
- Sextiled (supported) by Uranus at 0° Gemini
- Uranus is The Awakener, the revolutionary, the rebel. In Gemini, Uranus is here to bring radical changes to the way we think & communicate about our creative expression in the world. Sextile to (supporting) this new moon, we are invited to experiment with doing something different (and totally unexpected) in how we express ourselves creatively. Let your magic out, and watch how you can even catch yourself off guard!
- Loosely squared (challenged) by Chiron at 27° Taurus:
- With all the deep and radically transformational energy of this new moon, we may find some old fears or wounds around our self confidence & how we creatively share our light with the world. Be gentle with yourself, and nourish your inner child in ways that feel good. Perhaps you need to go get ice cream in the park, blow bubbles, finger paint, or run through the sprinkler (yes, as an adult). Let your inner child PLAY as a way of healing these old wounds, and see what magic reveals itself.
A really interesting take on the 31st Gene Key came through my unconscious Throat definition when I was recording the audios for the Leo New Moon. In exploring the ideas around the Shadow of Arrogance, the Gift of Leadership, and the Siddhi of Humility, it occurred to me that for all of us the true “Leader” in our lives is the wisdom of our bodies.
The Mind, in its arrogance, thinks it knows the best path forward for us, but time and time again, when we allow the mind to make the decisions in our lives, we suffer – we meet resistance in the form of frustration, bitterness, anger, and disappointment- and most of all… the body suffers.
When we can get the Mind to finally surrender its white knuckle grip on the steering wheel of our vehicle (the body), and take its rightful place in the backseat – as the passenger – the true Leader emerges – the intelligence of our physical bodies, and in Human Design, we understand this innate intelligence as our unique Inner Authority (Splenic, Sacral, Emotional, etc).
From this place, through observing the results of our Human Design experiment of trying out what it feels like to allow our bodies/Authority to make the decisions in our lives instead of our mind – the mind can finally see how wonderful & magical, and easeful our lives become when the body makes the decisions. In this way, the mind finally becomes humble to the true innate leadership of the body, and in this humility, the mind becomes the willing passenger, simply sitting back and enjoying the ride.
Can you finally get your mind to see its own arrogance in thinking that it can actually make good decisions in your life?
Can you finally get your mind to surrender to the True Leader within – the innate intelligence of your unique Inner Authority?
