We are all in a state of transformation right now. We are being called to reevaluate who we are and how we show up.

Yesterday I found this butterfly laying on its side in the wet grass.  There were droplets of water on its wings and it was missing half of its legs – but she was still alive.  I picked her up and took her to the table on our porch out of the rain. We sat together for over an hour. I sang songs to her.  I thought I was witnessing her final moments, but she kept hanging on. Because she only had half of her legs, it was easier for her to keep her balance resting on the fabric of my clothes.  She stayed for a long time right over my womb space. The metaphor was not lost on me.

I called @norawebb22 and talked to her and my 6 year old niece about the butterfly, Christmas presents, and thunderstorms.  Right as I was about to get off the phone, the butterfly began to flap her wings quickly and began to climb up my belly and went right over my heart.  She paused, vibrating her wings over my heart for several seconds and then took off into the wind! I was so worried she wouldn’t make it but she flew over the palm trees and into the great blue!

I share this story with you to remind you that magic is everywhere, if you just make space to allow it to speak to you. Gaia is here with all of us. Sending her emissaries of love to heal and guide us everyday. Even if you have been caught in the rain and lost half of your legs over the last few months, it is still possible for you to FLY
