Gemini New Moon 2025

This new moon is a breath of fresh air, helping us to breathe new life and enthusiasm into a particular area of your life – to sharpen your mental daggers to cut through any old, negative thought forms or ways of communicating to yourself about how very skilled, talented, and magical you truly are.

New Moons always mark the beginning of a new cycle, a reset, and a fresh start. In the middle of December last year with the Gemini Full Moon, you reached the culmination of a journey that began back around June 6th, 2024 (with the previous Gemini New Moon). Since December, you’ve been tying up loose ends related to this journey, integrating, digesting, and composting the ending that reached its peak at that time.
 
Now, all that you’ve been digesting & composting has finally turned into that rich, dark soil of this New Moon in Gemini, and it’s time to plant some new seeds/intentions around your thoughts and how you communicate them (first & foremost to yourself – then how you share them with your larger community).
For me personally, the Gemini New Moon in June 2024 marked the time when I became clear that I was going to close the Lemurian School completely, and planted the seeds to start building out classes focused on Astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys to make the shift.  The Gemini Full Moon in December 2024 marked the deepest part of my completion of offering Sound Temple Ceremonies, closing out a 7+ year cycle focused on Lemuria & Sound Healing.  Last December, was the first time in my life that I had intentionally taken time off to honor my 12th House Season, and I was in deep rest and hibernation mode.  Since December, I’ve digesting & integrating the end of that era of my life.  I’ve taken a huge break from posting on Instagram, but behind the scenes I’ve been really cultivating the art of the email, and now I’m feeling the invitation to breathe new life into my enthusiasm for sharing on Instagram once again. 🥰
Ruled by Mercury, Gemini is all about ADAPTABILITY.
Gemini is connected to the archetypes of the merchant, reporter, translator, student, researcher, scholar, writer, bard, and magician, and is connected to communication, the mental realm, curiosity, thinking, intellect, information, writing, speaking, versatility, mobility, and travel (especially short distance/domestic).

In its unhealed/unintegrated expression, Gemini is: scattered, superficial, a trickster, over talkative, distracted, overly intellectual, overwhelmed with information, and immature.

The New Moon occurs at 6° Gemini and will be engaged in the following aspects:

  • Conjunct (intertwined with) Mercury at 2° Gemini: 
    • Mercury is the ruler of Gemini, and just moved into his home sign the day before the New Moon. From now until June 8th, our minds & communications move like quicksilver, we are curious, interested in investigating, and sharing about what we discover. With Mercury (the winged messenger) conjunct the new moon, we are presented with the opportunity to lighten our thoughts.  Where has your mental chatter started to become heavy, overwhelming, or distracting? It’s time for a fresh start.  Set your intentions for a mental reset, so you can sharpen the daggers of your mind to cut through any self-depreciating or victim mentality thoughts in the coming 6 months.  Pay special attention to any messages you receive – letters, emails, texts, DMs, comments – are all filled with a little bit of extra mercurial magic right now.
  • Trined (supported by) Pluto Retrograde at 3° Aquarius: 
    • Pluto is the Lord of the Underworld, and represents power, control, secrets, mysteries, manipulation, anything taboo/hidden (sex, money, and the need to control or be controlled). Pluto in Aquarius is part of a 20 year total transformation of our connection to our authenticity & the freedom to make radical changes in our lives in order to become more true to ourselves.  Forming a supportive trine to the New Moon, Pluto is asking us to radically transform any small daily thoughts or negative self-talk that might be holding us back from expressing & communicating what makes us unique and different.
  • Sextiled (supported by) Neptune at 1° Aries & Saturn at 0° Aries: 
    • Neptune has recently moved into Aries, and has just been joined there by Saturn.  Saturn & Neptune in Pisces helped us to become responsible for our dreams. Now, Saturn & Neptune in Aries are asking us to become responsible for taking inspired action and moving forward on those dreams. Sextile to the New Moon in Gemini, Saturn & Neptune in Aries are helping us to find the courage, passion, drive & motivation to cut away the negative mind chatter that has inhibited us from moving forward, and stoke the fires of our enthusiasm for cutting a new path in the expression of our individuality.

Are you ready to sharpen your mental daggers, so that you can cut away the tangled thoughts of “I’m not good enough, I’m not worthy, I’m not ready yet” and take inspired action with diligence & dedication in the direction of your dreams?

There is a particular place/area of your life, where you used to feel the joy and the enthusiasm for expressing yourself, for communicating what you know – a place where this enthusiasm transformed the information & skills into pure art, and you lost yourself in the craft.

It’s time to breathe new life back into this area, this skill, this talent, this artform… It’s time to re-identify with this area of your life, and allow it to move through you as the divine current moves through a musician, or a dancer who has surrendered completely and has become the dance.

Yes, we are overwhelmed with information every day that would drown us, and making us feel small and insignificant – but your ENTHUSIASM is what is needed most right now!  Your enthusiasm to create, to express & communicate whatever it is you are passionate about – even in the face of all of the dramatic distractions of the world is the magic the world needs most right now.
