If you don’t know me, I’m Rakai’el, and I’ve been obsessed with the stars for as long as I can remember.
When I was 17 and living in Kentucky, I wandered into my parents’ closet and found a book on Astrology. I promptly drew up charts for myself and my friends. Looking back, I don’t even know how I knew how to do that.
Years went by and I turned my focus to other things. But in 2013 I found myself in a bookstore, knowing there was a book on that shelf that would change my life. When I finally found it, I was astonished to discover it was on Astrology.
Really? This again?
But the signs were unmistakable.
Since then I’ve studied with a Shaman who was also an Astrologer, mentored with another Astrologer who is also a mathematician & chemical engineer, and worked with clients for years, learning how the cosmic influences show up in our modern lives as living, breathing archetypal energies. I still receive a reading from my teacher every 3 to 6 months, because I believe the best teachers never stop being students.
I tune into the Astrological frequencies every morning to plan my day, support my clients, and make the big decisions in my life & business. This is the relationship with the stars I want for you.

Our Journey Through the Stars

Our journey begins June 2nd and runs through October 6th, 2026. Each week, a new module unlocks for 3 weeks in a row, followed by a live Q&A call on the 4th week so you can ask questions, and dive deeper into the material. After each Q&A call we pause for a dedicated integration week, giving you time to practice, reflect, and truly let the learning land before the next cycle begins.

MODULE 1: INTRODUCTION - Outline of the Chart
We begin at the beginning. You will learn where your chart comes from, how to read its map, and how the different layers of the chart correspond to different layers of your psyche. We also cover the four angles of the chart: the Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant, and Nadir, the cardinal points that orient everything else you will learn.

MODULE 2: INNER PLANETS - Your New Best Friends & Guides
The planets are not just symbols on a page. Q: When does the course start?
A: Our journey begins on Tuesday June 2nd, 2026. A new module unlocks every week for 3 weeks, followed by a live Q&A call on the 4th week, and then a dedicated integration week before the next cycle begins. We journey together through October 6th, 2026.
Q: How are the modules delivered?
A: All modules are pre-recorded and delivered through your private student portal . A new module unlocks every Tuesday for 3 weeks of each cycle. You can watch at any time that works for you, pause, rewatch, and return to the content as many times as you like. You have lifetime access to everything.
Q: What are the live Q&A calls like?
A: The live Q&A calls are held on Zoom every 4th week of each cycle. Each call is 2 hours long and is your opportunity to ask questions, dive deeper into your chart, and learn alongside your fellow students. Rakai’el will answer questions live and may look at student charts during the call. All calls are recorded and uploaded to your student portal so you can watch the replay if you cannot attend live.

Q: What if I can’t attend the live Q&A calls?
A: No problem at all! If you cannot attend live you can submit your questions ahead of time through the private student portal and Rakai’el will answer them during the call. The replay will be available in your student portal shortly after each call.
Q: What is the Telegram community?
A: When you enroll in Astro Empowerment you will be invited to join a private Telegram group exclusively for current students. This is a beautiful space to connect with your fellow students, share insights, ask questions, practice reading charts, and support each other through the integration weeks. It is one of our students’ favorite parts of the experience.
Q: Is this an online course or in-person?
A: Astro Empowerment is held entirely online. You can join from anywhere in the world. The pre-recorded modules are available in your student portal and the live Q&A calls are held on Zoom.
Q: Can I join if I live outside the US?
A: Absolutely! We have students joining from all over the world. The live Q&A calls are held at 1pm PDT so please check your local time zone before enrolling. All calls are recorded so if the time doesn’t work for you, you can always watch the replay in your student portal.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?

Q: I don’t understand Astrology AT ALL, can I still take the course?
A: 100% yes! This course is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you are a complete beginner or have been dabbling in astrology for years, Astro Empowerment will take you deeper than you have ever gone before. I am so excited for you to begin this journey.
Q: I understand the basics of Astrology and I’m looking for a deeper, more intuitive connection with the energies. Is this course for me?
A: Yes, absolutely. This is actually one of my primary intentions for this course: not just to share foundational information about astrology, but to help you develop an intuitive, lived, embodied relationship with the planetary frequencies. I want you to get to a place where you can sense and feel the planetary energies for yourself and then confirm what you have been experiencing by looking at your chart.
Q: Do I need to purchase any software for Astro Empowerment?
A: No software purchase is required. You can use the free website Astro.com to access your charts and look at transits. If you would like an app for your phone, I recommend iPhemeris for iPhone (currently $29.99) and AstroGold for Android (currently $26.99). Both also offer desktop versions but the mobile apps are more than enough.
Q: I don’t know my exact birth time and have no way of finding out. Will this affect my ability to take this course?
A: Not at all. In the first module we cover the Rising Sign and how it works, so that you will be able to recognize it when it manifests in your life. Combined with your own self-observation of your patterns and habits, it is possible to identify your Rising Sign even without an exact birth time. Q: Will this course allow me to offer Astrology readings for others?
A: Deciding to offer readings is a very personal choice and one that only you can make when you feel ready. Many of our students have gone on to confidently offer chart readings after completing the course, while others use their knowledge more in their daily lives, their businesses, and their relationships.
Q: What house system do you teach?
A: I use and teach the Placidus house system, which is the most widely used system in Western astrology. Using this system will give you the greatest understanding of the Astrology you encounter in the world and will make sense of things most quickly.
Q: Who did you study Astrology with?
A: When I was 17 I found an Astrology book in my parents’ closet and taught myself how to draw up charts. Since then I have done a year of mentorship with Erica Sandstedt, an incredible Shaman, Sound Healer and Astrologer, worked alongside Rebecca Farrar in my business for two years, and have been mentoring with an Astrology teacher who is also a mathematician and chemical engineer, which brings an extraordinary level of precision and depth to the craft. I receive readings from him every 3-6 months.
Q: What astrology software do you personally use?
A: I use iPhemeris on both my phone and my laptop. I love it!
