The Aquarius Full Moon perfects on July 29th, 2026 at 4:35 AM HST / 7:35 AM PDT at 6° Aquarius, & it is one of the most electrically charged, collectively significant Full Moons we have had in a long time. This is our final Full Moon before we enter the eclipse portal, & just hours before it perfects, Jupiter, the great expander, enters the heart of the Sun & is reborn in his most pure, generous expression, pouring that energy directly into this Full Moon. And while it is a Full Moon, it also carries the energy of a powerful new beginning in the genetic sequence for humanity’s collective evolution.
This full moon is here too help you shine your light and let your magic out in only the way that you can, so that the people in your soul group can find you finally.
This particular polarity, the beautiful, necessary, electric tension between Leo & Aquarius, is an energy. I know well. With my own nodes in these signs, I personally know the creative tension between wanting to help the humans, and simultaneously being afraid of being ostracized and persecuted for being different, and the vast storehouse of creative energy I know I am here to express in the world.
Here’s the thing: in order to actually find your people, those you are meant to serve, and collaborate with in this lifetime, you literally cannot play small. As I’m known for saying, you have to drive around with the woo-woo siren on top of your car, waving the freak flag out the window. Especially now that the Nodes have left the signs of Virgo & Pisces, we are so done with all of that negative, “I’m not good enough, the Internet is too loud, who am I to share” type of nonsense. 2027 is coming, and relationships and community are gonna be become more important than ever. It’s time to find your people, and they can’t find you if you’re not willing to be your fully expressed, weird, magical self for everyone to see.
To understand this Full Moon, we have to go back to February 17th, 2026.
This was when we had an Aquarius New Moon Solar Eclipse at 28° Aquarius that also kicked off the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Fire Horse. That Eclipse seeded something specific in a particular area of your life & chart. Something that has been growing & gaining momentum over the last 6 months. Here you’ve been focusing on doing things in your own unique way & bringing your own authentic expression to a particular area of your life.
Full Moons are always times of culmination, celebration & completion.
Take some time to reflect on what opened up for you in February. What area of your life began to move, to shift, to gain that particular momentum from the Fire Horse?
Ruled by Uranus, the only deity in mythology who came not from the earth but from the sky, Aquarius carries that same quality of otherworldliness in everything it touches. It is the revolutionary, the inventor, the mad scientist, the humanitarian genius who cannot stop having ideas even when the world around them says those ideas are too strange, too soon, too much.
When I think of Aquarius, I think of three things: authenticity, the courage to be free & the willingness to change before the world tells you it’s time. This Full Moon is illuminating all three in the most personal of ways.
In its healed expression, Aquarius is unique, freedom-loving, community-oriented, globally thinking, philanthropic, innovative, liberating & radically tolerant of every individual expression. Here, your authenticity becomes a permission slip for everyone you meet to feel free to be their own weird, magical self.
In its unhealed expression, it can be fragmented, alienating, aloof, overly intellectual, unrelatable or so far ahead of its time that it forgets to actually connect with the humans around it. Its deepest shadow is the one that self-rejects before anyone else even has the chance to: I don’t fit in. I don’t belong. Nobody gets me. Shutting yourself down before anybody else has a chance to do it.
This Full Moon is here to illuminate every place where that shadow has been running the show. Not to shame it, but to alchemize it. Because we are at a point in the evolution of humanity where we cannot afford for you to keep hiding.
ASPECTS TO THE AQUARIUS FULL MOON
This Aquarius Full Moon is landing in the middle of the Barbault Basket & lighting up the threads of that cosmic web simultaneously. The Barbault Basket, if you haven’t encountered it yet, is the rare & extraordinary alignment between all of the outer Planets that has been building throughout 2026 and into 2027: Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries & Uranus in Gemini all in harmonious positive alignment with one another, weaving a web of collective transformation unlike anything we have seen in our lifetimes.
Of special significance is the exact alignment of Jupiter with the Sun, forming a Cazimi, just hours before the full moon. Every year, Jupiter forms the alignment with the Sun, but only every 12 years is the Sun in its home sign of Leo. That makes this alignment and this full moon one of the luckiest days of the next 12 years!
The Full Moon occurs at 6° Aquarius and is aspected by the following:

Pluto has been doing the deep underground work of transforming everything we have ever believed about power, authenticity & what it means to be unapologetically ourselves. With the Moon sitting right beside him at this Full Moon, big feelings are going to surface. Feelings about your own power, your creative expression & your worthiness to be fully seen. Feel them fully. That is the alchemy Pluto is here for. - Opposed (challenged) by the Sun conjunct Jupiter at 6° Leo – this one is BIG!
Just hours before this Full Moon perfects, Jupiter forms what is called a Cazimi, moving into the heart of the Sun. In ancient Astrology, when a Planet reaches exact conjunction with the Sun, it enters the throne room of the Solar King & is reborn. Every shadow of Jupiter, dogmatism, overindulgence, the clinging to belief systems that keep us small, are being burned away by the light of the Sun. What comes through is Jupiter at his most pure: the benevolent, generous King. The great expander. The one who says yes to life in its fullest expression. In the Human Design system, this Full Moon falls in Gate 41, also known as the Gate of Contraction, sitting in the Root Center in the Collective Abstract Circuit. This is what makes this Full Moon feel like a New Moon. Gate 41 is the start codon of the entire human genetic sequence. The point from which everything else begins. It is the gate of the Rave New Year. When the Sun enters this Gate every January, the Human Design calendar resets & a whole new cycle of experience begins.
So even though this is a Full Moon, a time of culmination & completion, it carries within it the seed of something entirely new. The alpha & the omega in the same breath.
The shadow frequency of Gate 41 in the Gene Keys is Fantasy: the tendency to build elaborate pictures of how something will feel before it arrives, & then meet reality with the sting of disappointment when the picture & the moment don’t match. The gift is Anticipation: the art of dropping beneath the desire for a specific experience & touching the feeling you are actually longing for. Not the vacation, but the ease.
